The UHF based radio has 8 selectable channels via the controls on the fist mike. Channel indication is displayed on the top of the radio by sun light viewable LEDS. The radio is factory programmed to your channels. The IRB radio is mounted on the back transom of the boat and typically controlled by the driver. It is secured via a large stainless clamp fitted to the radio and also integrates a safety lanyard, which can be fitted to the boat. The audio output has been amplified to provide loud clear audio via the base integrated Waterproof speaker and protective membrane. This allows all rescuers in the boat to hear the radio. An optional Submersible Headset allows the user to have direct access to the mike speaker. |
