02552  Ultra-Light Aircraft Antenna  

Description

The Model 02552 is an antenna intended for use in the Aviation communications band 118-136MHz.

This antenna is designed primarily for ultra-light aircraft applications. Its Nylon rope support allows it to be strung within the frame structure of most ultra-light aircraft.

NOTE: This antenna must be mounted in such a way that any radiating or choking sections (as shown) must not come into contact with metal objects. The antenna must be "free swinging".

This antenna must also tuned to frequency (4MHz Bandwidth). The tuning chart shown is approximate only, antenna should be tuned using a VSWR meter.

The antenna is tuned by carefully cutting the heatshrink and conductor at the top of the antenna, DO NOT CUT THE NYLON CORD.
