This new antenna provides a higher gain alternative to our lower profile body mount antenna. Using a collinear configuration, it provides 5dBi gain and is easy to install. When additional performance is needed, this high gain antenna is an excellent solution.

The design usages a 19mm NMO style mount for securing to the vehicle. The NMO mount/cable assembly is supplied. The antenna is ground plane dependant, and must be attached to a metal surface.

The antennas are outfitted with 4.5m of RF-195 cable and TNC, SMA or N male connectors. Other connectors can be supplied loose and would be attached after installation. A crimp tool with appropriate hex die would be required. Upon request, Connectors can be pre-installed at the factory (N connectors are supplied loose to ease cable routing/field installation).

The antenna has a 304 grade stainless steel whip, which offers some flexibility. The base assembly uses an ABS collar with a chrome plated brass base. The bottom base is outfitted with a captured "O" ring for complete sealing.

The 19mm mounting assembly has a tilt-able assembly that is installed from the top side of the vehicle. An exterior lock ring secures the assembly from the top. The antenna then simply screws onto the mount. The antenna can be removed for overhead obstructions.
